I spent a quick hour last weekend with my friend Michelle, her sister and mom to take a few pictures of them. Michelle had been wanting to do this for a while and with Ksena visiting from Edmonton the timing finally worked. I can say it was such a pleasure to capture the closeness of the 3 of them together and I'm so happy Michelle asked me!!!
Michelle is one of my dearest and oldest friends, we've been friends for about 17 years and I love her to pieces!!! We have worked together, been roommates, and she was my supervisor for a short time at Wellington Dining Room(thanks for not firing me Michelle!!) But more importantly we've watched each other grow up and cheered on and supported each other through good times and bad. I read a quote not very long ago that said something like this, "The older you get the more you need to keep close the friends you knew back when you were young". Back when I was younger (and much stupider, I might add) I had a tendency to get myself into "predicaments" and several times my sweet friend Michelle bailed me out. I understand what that person meant by that quote now, for me those few great friends who have watched me mature, marry (not neccesarily in that order.LOL), become a mother, struggle in a marriage, raise a family and try to find a career for myself are soooo precious!!! What I love so much about Michelle is that she always found the humour in any of my "situations" and never made me feel worse than what I already did, and to this day can still make me split a gut laughing over some of them.
Anyone that knows her, knows that she has a very kind heart and a wicked good sense of humour, she's sooooo funny!!!!! I'm proud of her and her accomplishments and will love her always!!
