Lauryn and Paige

Here are my daughters, Paige and Lauryn and like any mom I'm so proud of them!!!! Now that they have gotten older, I find myself thoroughly enjoying their company. Long gone are the days of dirty diapers, silly power struggles, constant demands and broken sleep. Paige is a great kid, super responsible (typical 1st born), kind, gentle, bright and creative. Lauryn is fun loving, sweet, very funny, and extremely kind. They both have made my life richer in ways I never dreamed. I'm so grateful for the gift of my two beautiful girls. And this feeling for my girls has given me hope that some day soon I will feel the same way about the other 2 monsters I'm raising. Of course I love Matthew and Lindsay, they just haven't gotten to a stage where I like them yet, LOL. Anyone who's a mom knows what I'm trying to say. Anyways, to all you moms out there who are loving your toddlers as best as you can, hang in there. The best is yet to come!!!!

I had so much fun hanging out with Trudi, her daughter Candace and her boys Trevor and Carter! These boys are so sweet and I love the fact that they are so full of life and energy!!!! They remind so much of my own son and I think that's why I enjoyed being around them so much.

This is one handsome boy!!! I loved taking Colby's picture not only because the camera loves him but because he is such a nice kid!!!! I told him he's going to have lots of girlfriends when he's older. He's a charming young man who's going to be a real heartbreaker. Melissa you've done a great job, you've got one terrific kid. Good luck in Grade 7 Colby and keep smiling!!

This is Elmer and Sherri Gerbrandt and I had the priviledge of taking some family pictures for them Labour Day long weekend. It was Sherri's parents 50th wedding anniversary. Wow!!! Truly an occasion to honour and celebrate. I just want to say that Sherri is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. I have an enormous amount of respect for her and her family for the way they deal with what life sends their way. They work hard, laugh with their friends and most importantly really love and value family. I wish only the best for this family because they deserve it and they are due!!!!!
