This is one of my favorite pictures, mostly because I adore Karen. Karen's son Thomas graduates this year and I was honored to take some grad and family photo's for them. Karen is a grade 2 teacher and last year taught my daughter Lauryn. She is a phenomenal teacher!!!! Lauryn loved being in her classroom and told me she wants to be a grade 2 teacher at WES when she grows up. Watchout Mrs. Mark, I think she's gunnin for your job. lol. Seriously, it says volumes when a child wants to emulate someone, especially my Lauryn who is not easily impressed. What I think children love about her is her great sense of humour, and the gentle caring way she has with their hearts!! She's so smart at reading kids and then figuring out the exact right approach that works with each one. I'm so grateful for teachers like Karen, who are helping to shape my children into the great adults I hope they become one day.

Val and Rhett

I just want to congratulate Val and Rhett and wish them a lifetime of love and laughter together!!! I feel very lucky to have been a part of their special day and so enjoyed photographing them. Val has one of the most beautiful smiles as you can see and both bride and groom have such a natural easy going way about themselves. Spending the day with them was a pleasure. Best Wishe guys!!!

For those of you who don't know, Rhett plays with the Edmonton Eskimos and as you can see has a Grey Cup ring. The cool thing is one of his groomsmen Tyson also has a Grey Cup ring from playing with the B.C Lions. Isn't too often that you get lucky enough to photograph that much bling in one shot!!!

Michelle, if you can believe it, just had a baby 7 weeks ago, she looks fabulous and very happy I might add (not at all sleep deprived). Congrats Michelle and Marcus on the newest addition to your family!!! She's a beauty just like her mom.
